Accounting & Administrative Assistant (NEW OPENING)
HARN Financial Group is seeking Accounting & Administrative Assistant, must be reliable and highly organized. Candidate should possess excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing and work equally well independently and in teams. In addition to these traits, we are looking for applicants with the following skillset.
Core skills
Phone etiquette and front office organization
Proficient in computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office applications
Strong typing skills, 50+ wpm Experience with office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and scanners
Strong mathematical skills
Proficient knowledge of accounting and financial principles with IRS regulations & guidelines
Advanced skills:
College degree or associate in Accounting or related field
Proficient with QuickBooks or similar software
Financial Statement & P&L reconciliation and reporting
Pay Range:
$15.00-$22 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities:
Provide friendly and professional interaction for clients both in person and over the phone

Data entry of client personal and income information
Assist clients in booking appointments for office visits
Support company initiatives around client care, community outreach, & client retention efforts

PTIN holder; or minimum associate college education with focus on accounting/finance

Customer service-oriented individuals with desire to learn, adapt, & grow
Knowledge of individual 1040 tax filing with utilization of applicable schedules & forms
Responsibilities:
Interview and guidance of tax filing process to deliver effective results for clients while adhering
to IRS Rules & Guidelines
Maintain filing and safe keeping of all client records required per IRS requirements
Support tax firm in process of preparing business returns via 1065 Partnerships, 1120 S-Corp, & C-Corp Filing
Phone etiquette and in person interaction
Company initiatives around client care, offerings of refund advances, & client retention efforts
Maintain a professional personal appearance along with organized & welcoming work space
